I worked 2 years for Whataburger with not so much as a write up never being late not calling in consistently like other managers bending over backwards for them. In the matter of 1 day maybe 2 at most they fired me.

Still don't know why and its been 15 days. I've called HR several times to try to get answers to no avail I never get a call back. I was instructed to speak to the Area Manager who instructed me to speak to HR. Nice communication.

2 years of hard work neglecting my family's needs my future rested in the hands of 3 people who didn't take the time to properly investigate a situation that was fixable had they done their jobs they would have know that. the director of operations HR consultant and the area manager wouldn't even take into consideration a write up or a jij or a demotion . Just automatic termination. No questions asked except to the accusing party.

still no answers and I'm now left to find adequate employment a week and a half after my husband second heart surgery. The 1st one being a week prior to all this mess. My husband who not only has had 2 heart surgeries in 2 weeks is also facing the end stages of renal failure. He's dying and I still made time to give my job at Whataburger a 150% when I was there.

This not only affected me but my familys needs as we have medication that has to be paid for that insurance does not cover that is detrimental to my husbands survival. I will have lost 40 thosand dollars by the end on the year thats not including the mental and emotional toll this has taken on my family. I have nothing bad to say about anyone at the store level they were all great to me.

However upper management could use a real lesson in humility and the way they treat people. Due dilligence goes along way.

User's recommendation: its a great experience as long as your not a target.

Monetary Loss: $40000.

Preferred solution: Apology.

Whataburger Pros: Customer service, Location, Good food.

Whataburger Cons: Horrible and two-faced faced management.
